Unlike an instructor or trainer, the emphasis of a coach is not to simply impart knowledge or provide a plan for you to follow, but to help you gain understanding and take ownership of your health and training. This is done with you not for you, with guided goal setting, self-assessment and identifying solutions to personal barriers. This allows you to grow and progress your health and fitness in a way which accommodates and enhances your lifestyle and circumstances.
